2021 Cadillac XT4 Overview

If you opt for the next trim-level up, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front and Rear Park Assist and Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert are added to the safety suite.

Premium Luxury models also receive welcome amenities like a hands-free power liftgate, illuminating door handles and heated, driver-side auto-dimming and power folding outside mirrors. Inside, ambient interior lighting is added in addition to available ventilated front leather seats, a head-up display and wireless phone charging pad. 2021 Cadillac XT4 Sport Trim

At the high end of the spectrum, the Sport trim showcases the very best of what the XT4 has to offer. The red painted brake calipers peeking behind its available 20-inch diamond cut/satin finish five-spokes let you know this is no ordinary luxury SUV.

The bright accent grille and satin aluminum window trim in the Luxury and Premium Luxury models are now replaced with a gloss-black finish on the grille, side-window surround and roof rails on the Sport. This conveys a much more aggressive appearance that personifies what the Sport is all about.

An Active Sport Suspension is offered exclusively on this trim level as a $700 extra-cost option. It features continuous damping control technology that can adjust damping forces every two milliseconds—ensuring that the XT4’s suspension can be calm and composed on highway-commutes and firmed-up for precise control on twisty roads.

An exclusive leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, alloy sport pedals and carbon fiber interior décor certainly add a dose of adrenaline to the cabin while retaining the XT4’s overall elegance. The 2021 Cadillac XT4 Sport starts at $40,990.

How to Choose the Best XT4 Trim

With its impressive host of standard equipment, there certainly is no wrong choice among the XT4’s three trim levels. Each brings something unique to the table.

The only drawback of the entry-level Luxury trim is that many of the XT4’s optional equipment and premium amenities can’t be added even as an extra-cost option—examples include the ventilated seats, head-up display, hands-free power liftgate and various safety and driver assist technologies.

If you’re looking for maximum luxury and refinement, the XT4 Premium Luxury is probably the ideal choice. But if you want something that gets your heart beating just a little bit faster on your daily commute, the XT4 Sport will certainly not disappoint.
